Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium?

In 2011-2012, the Government launched Pupil Premium funding. This money is devolved to schools based upon the number of pupils in the school who have been eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last six years and pupils  who have been in care for six months or longer.

This money is allocated by the Government to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. At Wellhouse School we allocate the money to initiatives to support all pupils in reaching their full potential, both academically and socially.
